Our Program
A Child-Centered Approach
In our Montessori-inspired environment, children are encouraged to explore, make choices, and discover through purposeful play. Every activity is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and promote problem-solving skills. Rather than directing every step, our role is to gently guide and support each child, allowing them to thrive at their own pace.
Hands-On Learning Materials
Our inside and outside play area is filled with Montessori-inspired materials and age-appropriate activities that engage the senses, foster concentration, and encourage independence. From practical life exercises to early math, language, and motor-skill activities, children learn by doing, which creates deeper understanding and long-lasting confidence.
Developing the Whole Child
We focus on nurturing more than just academics. Our program supports social, emotional, and practical life skills, helping children build empathy, respect, and collaboration with their peers. By balancing structure with freedom, children develop independence while feeling safe and cared for in a warm home-like environment.

About our Family
Hello! I’m Tytania, the proud founder of 3 Little Hummingbirds Montessori & Daycare. Our name celebrates the three children who inspire this dream every day—my son Jasper and my bonus babies, Ali and Johnny. Together, they are my little hummingbirds, filling our home with joy, laughter, and endless curiosity.
My professional journey with children began at The Little Gym of Brentwood, where I worked with families in programs that went far beyond gymnastics. From parent–child classes and preschool prep to dance, enrichment activities, and camps, I saw firsthand how confidence, social skills, and creativity bloom when children are given the right encouragement. I also spent several years nannying for families, which deepened my ability to meet children where they are and provide the one-on-one care that helps them feel secure and loved.
My inspiration for using the Montessori method began much earlier in my own childhood. From 10 months through age 6, I was guided by my Montessori teacher, Mrs. Debbie, who encouraged me to learn by exploring, making choices, and working at my own pace. Her gentle influence is a big part of why I believe so strongly in child-led learning today.
A more personal part of my journey came when my son Jasper spent over 100 days in the NICU after birth. Walking through that experience gave me a unique perspective on the needs of infants and the resilience of tiny hearts. It also shaped my ability to provide compassionate, attentive care for babies—especially those who may have had a delicate or challenging start to life. That experience is woven into the heart of my program: every child here is seen, celebrated, and supported, no matter their beginning.
At 3 Little Hummingbirds, I bring together these life experiences—the structured playfulness of The Little Gym, the personal touch of nannying, the independence of Montessori, and the patience and strength I learned from Jasper’s NICU journey—to create a nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and truly soar.
